WTT FEEDER Table Championship kicks off today
The series of men’s and women’s world table championships will open today with the WTT FEEDER Championship, which will continue until March 17th at the Women’s Gymnasium in Aspire Zone, with the participation of 265 players from the top ranked players in the world rankings of the International Table Federation representing 37 countries from different continents of the world Including China, Korea, Tunisia, India, France, Egypt, Japan, Italy, Hong Kong, Thailand and Australia, in addition to Qatar, the host country.
The WTT FEEDER competitions are played according to the regulations of the International Federation of the Game and the World Backgammon Foundation, with the matches being divided into singles and doubles for men and women, in addition to the mixed doubles.
It is expected that the series of international table tennis tournaments hosted by Qatar will continue throughout the month of March, with the holding of the WTT CONTENDER Championship during the period from 24 to 28 March, then the conclusion of the WTT STAR CONTENDER Championship from 25 to 31 March, provided that both tournaments will be held The last two are in the Lusail World Cup hall.
In a related context, the Supreme Organizing Committee of the WTT FEEDER Championship announced the completion of all the logistical and organizational preparations in the Aspire Women’s Gymnasium for the success of the championship competitions hosted by Qatar for the first time. .
The Feder Championship will witness the entry of 7 members of our national team players to the competition line. The competitions will witness the participation of 5 male players, who are Muhammad Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Saadawi, Ahmed Muthanna Al-Awlaki, Abdullah Abdel Wahab and Fahd Al-Mughni, in addition to two players in the women’s category, Maryam Ali and Shawq Abdullah.
