Sanex Trading WLL gets dealership for LingMei badminton products for Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain
Badminton players to get top notch products of the Chinese company
Doha, Qatar: Players all over the world always look forward to get the extra edge over their opponents, either it is in the form of quality coaching or use of equipment. The same holds true for badminton players in Qatar and the Middle East.
Looking at the rapid strides the game is making in the region it is imperative to make the best-of-the-best equipment available for players in the region.
Joining the race to make top-notch badminton gear available at the doorstep is Sanex Trading WLL, which has been awarded the sole dealership of LingMei, a renowned international badminton shuttlecock brand and its allied products, for Qatar and three other Middle East countries, it was announced.
Officials of Sanex Trading WLL, a Qatar-based company, made the announcement here yesterday while speaking to reporters.
Anu Abraham along with Nejeeb Basheerkutty and Sudheer Shenoy all management members of Sanex were in China recently and inked a dealership agreement in the presence of Qinghao Pan, CEO LingMei at a ceremony held at LingMei Corporate Office in Hefei, China.
“We have been given the dealership rights for four countries from the Middle East. Besides Qatar, our company is the sole dealer for Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain,” said Anu, a former badminton player and managing committee member of Sanex Trading WLL.
Sanex Trading has taken upon the onus of bringing the renowned brand to Qatar and three other countries with an eye to give the players from the region the best equipment.
“The game has been growing over the years, in sheer numbers of players. Young players, who aim to be professional players and others who play it as a recreational sport are increasing every day over the last few years. The venues where badminton is played have also increased in the Middle East,” said Sudheer, who occasionally plays the game and is also a qualified badminton umpire.
A lot of people are part of the badminton industry in the Middle East and earn their living from the game.
“The game is popular with a lot of Asian and Arab communities based in the Middle East like the Indians, Filipinos, Sri Lankans, Indonesians, Malaysians. A number of coaches from India, Indonesia and Malaysia are employed as full-time badminton coaches,” said Nejeeb.
Sanex officials said with Qatar set to host the Asian Games in 2030, the focus is on grooming and spotting young talent for the continental event and Qatar Badminton Association is moving in that direction.
“Qatar Badminton Association is having a lot of tournaments and giving exposure to the different players to compete against the best in Qatar. The tournaments are held regularly throughout the year, which is a good thing to happen for the game,” added Nejeeb, about the game in Qatar.
Besides Shuttlecocks, LingMei other products which will be sold through their authorized outlets include rackets, strings, bags, shoes, socks, string machine, apparel and other accessories.
